WEBfactory Certified WEBXpert

The challenge consisted in the control and regulation of 4 MAN Diesel aggregates with an electrical power of 12, 6 MW each, as well as control and regulation of all auxiliary actuators such as the cooling water circuit, fuel supply, fuel oil treatment and switching control of the medium voltage installation.

Control is performed via the Siemens Simatic S7-400, the visualisation of the whole power plant with WEBfactory based on Microsoft Silverlight.

All control units have their own operating panel with touch screen, with the additional option to monitor the whole power plant. In total the installation has nine panels in the switching systems as well as two SCADA computers.

The installation was designed and built by MAN Augsburg, the control technology and visualisation was designed and built by Interturbine-MES.
