WEBfactory 2010 Alarm visualisation

By means of the alarm visualization, one can represent, comment and confirm historical and online alarms. An intuitive surface provides the rapid registration and evaluation of the current situation and the user's reaction to it (for touch-screen terminals, as well). The basic definition and parameterisation of the alarm is performed in the alarm management module of the WEBfactory Studio. The most important features:

• collective alarm confirmation with and without comment entry
• During the project planning one can define a navigation purpose (URL) for each alarm, which can be accessed by a simple click when the alarm appears.
• Display of the unconfirmed alarm events for each alarm definition
• Operator guidance for a quick failure removal with the display of cause, effect and instructions for failure removal
• Filtering criteria can be modified, saved and downloaded online
• Determining the alarm processing routines and display options
• All functions are available through an efficient API and can be accessed directly from the programme code.
• Effective filtering options with multiple selection, for example groups and types filtering
• One can apply user defined filters and pop-up menus
• Flexible export functions, for example Microsoft Excel, CSV, TXT, etc.
• Additional information, such as alarm description, alarm duration, alarm status, etc.
• Maximum 32 specific alarm characteristics can be defined, which can be represented in the alarm display when the alarm appears
• The user can comment every alarm regarding both the historical as well as the online aspect
• Context menu with various confirmation options, in order to confirm all the active (visible and invisible), all the displayed or currently selected alarms
